The book has flexible cardboard covers that are covered with a layer of thin gray fabric on the exterior. An adhesive white paper label on the front cover has black printed title text that is surrounded by a decorative blue scrollwork design. It contains 47 pages of black printed text on white paper which provide a transcript of the paper that was read at the Prismatic Club. Several black and white illustrations and maps are included with the text and four foldout maps are provided at the back. The book, copy #26, was privately printed by the Press of the Round Circle, Detroit, in 1939.
