Booklet. A 52 page booklet bound by staples in a white cover commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Public Lighting Department. The street light design along the left edge of the cover mimics the early Annual Reports of the Public Lighting Commission. Inside are a brief history of public lighting in Detroit, a proclamation from Mayor Coleman Young, and a resolution from the City Council celebrating the Public Lighting Department, and a multitude of congratulatory messages and advertisements from local businesses.
