The Amateur Sailor

One booklet entitled "The Amateur Sailor" by Alex I. McLeod, who was the Commodore of the Detroit Yacht Club in 1904-1905. The softcover booklet has a green/gray heavyweight paper cover with black title text. It contains 65 pages of black printed text on white paper that give instructions on seamanship and sailboat handling. Several sketches of various sailboats are included with the text, and a glossary of nautical terms is shown at the back. This booklet is a 1929 reprint of the original 1895 version. A printed note from the author, dated October 15, 1929, is glued to the inside back cover.
