Before and After, the Labor-Management Relations Act of 1947, referred to as the Taft-Hartley Law

Booklet. 16 page staple-bound booklet entitled, "Before and After, the Labor-Management Relations Act of 1947, referred to as the Taft-Hartley Law," published by the Republican National Committee. The booklet contains ten pages of two panel comics, the top depicting life for workers before the Taft-Hartley Law, and the bottom, after. Each change is depicted as an improvement, and includes a note that a high percentage of workers support each change. The final pages describe way the law benefits workers, unions, employers, and the public at large, in addition to providing a time line of "milestones in the progressive labor record of the Republican Party."
