Booklet, written by Andrew A. Polscher and published by the Detroit Club of Printing House Craftsmen, containing information on the early history of printing in Detroit. The history is primarily focused on Father Gabriel Richard and his work, but it also deals with John McCall's previous efforts, as well as Richard's successors James Miller, Aaron Coxshaw, Theophilus Mettez, and Sheldon and Reed. The booklet is bound with a white cover printed with a detail from a 1810 maps of Detroit.
