The Magic in Candy Canes
Staple-bound storybook, written and illustrated by Marian Morris for the J.L. Hudson Company Department Store's Christmas Toy Shop. The story concerns Mrs. Claus' friend and helper Taffy Pennyman, the Candy-Stick-Man melting and twisting in a kitchen mishap, thus becoming the inspiration for the candy cane. Pennyman is pictured on the cover prior to his accident.
