Old World Homes at Yuletide

Staple-bound booklet published by the J.L. Hudson Company containing descriptions of the ten scenes of Christmas celebrations by different European cultures which were displayed on the ninth floor of the company's department store. The scenes include Holland, France, Sweden, Finland, Scotland, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, and Poland. The booklet explains that the scenes were put together by the store's Home Furnishings Stylist, Gertrude Elliott, based upon research and travel, with help by the Detroit Public Library and the Detroit Council of Social Agencies.
