Poppy, the Elephant with Red-Rimmed Eyes
Staple-bound storybook, written and illustrated by Marian Morris Goodman for the J.L. Hudson Company Department Store's Christmas Toy Shop. The story concerns a toy elephant named Poppy made out of percale scraps printed with a poppy pattern by Mrs. Claus. A red and white checker pattern with elephants in each square is printed on the cover.
