The booklet has a heavyweight red paper cover with a dark red velvet exterior and gold-colored title text. It contains 12 pages of black printed text on white paper that give biographical information about Thomas Midgley, Jr., who was a noted researcher, engineer, chemist, and businessman at Ethyl Corporation. The cover and pages are bound with a decorative yellow cord and tassel on the spine.
