ex libris, Henry Daniels Brown
One bookplate (and 4 copies) from the library of Henry D. Brown. The bookplate consists of a rectangular sheet of white paper that has been printed with a black pen and ink sketch. The sketch is of a mid-19th century style and shows a man on a ladder who is mounting a poster on a wall. Heavy black text in an adjacent box reads "ex libris, Henry Daniels Brown." Smaller text in the lower right corner reads "Visit the Detroit Historical Museum."
