"Salute to Eisenhower" Dinner

One brochure that was prepared by the "Salute to Eisenhower" Dinner Committee. The booklet-style brochure has a large photographic image of President Eisenhower on the front cover. Eight interior pages are printed in blue and gold-colored text which note the achievements of the Eisenhower Administration and gives general details about a series of tribute dinners that were to be held in Detroit and other Michigan cities. A pocket on the inside back cover contains 10 handout letters and encourages citizens to support and become involved with one of the committees in each of the selected Michigan cities. Similar dinner committees were being organized in other states across the country. Funds raised from the dinners were to be used to support Republican Party initiatives at the local and national levels.
