Detroit Jazz Artists Calendar, 1979

One "Detroit Jazz Artists Calendar, 1979." The booklet-style calendar is printed in black text on mustard-color paper. Each month shows a halftone photographic image of a jazz musician at the top with a large block-style calendar on the bottom. Faruq Z. Bey is featured on the cover, and Terry Pollard, Ron English, Lamonte Hamilton, Lyman Woodard, Dave Wilborn, Jimmy Wilkins, Louis Smith, Marcus Belgrave, Harold McKinney, Teddy Harris, Earl Klugh, Wendell Harrison, Sam Sanders, and Kim Weston are featured inside. The calendar was designed and edited by John Sinclair for the Jazz Research Institute and was printed by Sun Press in Detroit. The majority of the photos are credited to Leni Sinclair.
