Dear Mr. Weeks
As Mayor of Toyota City, I felt very proud to have been able to visit Detroit and I want to thank you for your warm welcome and generous hospitality.
Although my stay in your city was only five days, each experience has becomes a precious memory which I will always cherish. Your friendship toward me has helped to deepen the ties of understanding between our two cities.
I did enjoy my visit to your museum and especially the section representing Japan which came as a joyful surprise.
Yours sincerely,
