Speakeasy membership card for The Old Pioneer, at 2951 East Jefferson Avenue. The card is printed in black on light blue. The card is signed on the recto by Herman L. Lewis Jr., above where "is a member in good standing," is printed. Also printed on the card is "D. Boone, Secretary," "Club Rooms Open Daily 10 a.m. to 1 a.m.," and the phone number "Fitzroy 9544." A border with a leaf motif extends around the recto. "Only members in good standing admitted. No unnecessary noise will be tolerated in or around club rooms. This Card is Not Transferable. No 5146," is printed on the verso, along with the handwritten name, "Sam Perlstein."
