Each is printed with the image of the 1887 Y.M.C.A. on Grand River Avenue and Griswold Street, and signed by Frederick Gidday. The 1889 card has October punched out along its left edge, the printed signature of association president S.M. Cutcheon at the bottom, and the handwritten signature of general secretary L.F. Newman along the right edge. The 1890 and 1891 cards have December punched out instead. The 1891 card also bears the printed signature of J.C. McCaul as the president. Each card has the price of full privileges--$6--printed on the verso along with the rules of using the card. The 1891 card also has two handwritten notes, "paid six 6.00," and "William, Sheley Brook."
The locker ticket is printed in black on green, and reads, "Mr. Fred Gidday Has paid Two Dollars, and is entitled to Dressing Case, No 653 as per conditions on back hereof." In addition to Gidday's signature and the locker number being handwritten, it is also signed by generals secretary L.F. Newman. October is punched out along the left side, and 1889 along the bottom. On the verso are the conditions of the ticket, instructions to open the combination lock, and the handwritten combination "34 1/2, 2 1/2, 23 1/2."
