Trade card from the Detroit Vapor Stove Company advertising their Detroit No. 28 model gasoline burning stove. A lithograph, credited to the Calvert Lithograph Company, on the recto depicts a vase of flowers on a plinth, a pair of birds in the upper right corner, and a house in the middle of a field with trees behind it. On the verso is an advertisement for the Detroit No. 28 model stove, alongside and image of the stove, and advertising text stating that the Detroit Vapor Stove Company's stove are "the only stoves made which will burn any grade of gasoline" and are "absolutely safe, simple, durable and ornamental. Write for catalogue." On the bottom of the verso is a stamp that reads "Solms Bros., Saginaw, Mich."
