Card, Trade
Trade card from the Detroit Stove Works advertising their "Michigan Base Burner" model stove. A lithograph on the recto, attributed to the Calvert Lithograph Company, depicts a woman in a fuschia dress and a young girl in a yellow dress warming themselves by a "Michigan Base Burner" stove while a man in a gray suit enters the room in the background. "Patented August 6 and October 8, 1872; In Canada, Jan. 12, 1873" is printed across the top of the card.
