Trade card from the Michigan Stove Company advertising Garland Stoves and Ranges. The lithograph on the recto, copyrighted in 1882 by M.B. Mills and attributed to the Calvert Lithograph Company, depicts a brown-haired woman in a pink dress walking a dog while holding a large dandelion over her head like an umbrella. An advertising poem that reads "In Garland Stoves you are sure to find; The good and beautiful combined; Aesthetic in design and kind; To please the most fastidious mind" is at the bottom of the recto. On the verso is an early Garland Stoves and Ranges logo.
