Card, Trade

Michigan Stove Company trade card, printed by the Calvert Lithographing Company, advertising Garland Stoves and Ranges. The recto bears a scene inspired by the song "All on Account of Eliza," of a soldier talking to a woman with an exchange written below:

"Have you a Garland?"
"No, but my Brother Harland
Who lives in Starland
Has an elegant "Garland."

A Garland logo is printed on the verso, with a stamp that reads "Sold By G.H. Scriver; St. Louis, Mich."
