Cartoon printed in black on paper, by cartoonist Leo Thiele. The top portion features a drawing of a rooster labeled "Spectacular Aviation" crowing the words "Stunts! Oceanic Hops! Endurance Records! Etc!" Text underneath the rooster reads "While the Rooster May Do Most of the Crowing---" The bottom portion features a drawing of a hen labeled "Everyday Practical Flying," with a wing labeled "Stout Air Lines," laying on eggs labeled "Airmail and Passenger, Service Records - Etc." The nest is labeled "Aviation Progress." Text underneath the hen reads "----- It's the Hen That Lays the Eggs!" Text in the bottom right corner reads "(c) 1929 - N.E.A. Service Thiele."
