Certificate of appreciation presented by the City of Seoul to Mayor Albert Cobo, after Paak Bor-Yaang trained with the Detroit Police. The certificate is tan with black print that reads "City of Seoul / Office of the Mayor / Republic of Korea / 15 January 1952 / Honorable Albert Cobo / Mayor of Detroit / Detroit, Michigan / In Appreciation / Of the warm reception and the many courtesies extended to Mr. / PAAK, Bor-Yaang, Executive Secretary to the Mayor of the City / of Seoul, Republic of Korea, during his training with the Detroit / Police Academy, / we as citizens of this City wish to thank you / and extend to you the credit for which you so richly deserve. / In memory of the City of Seoul, as a little token of our warmest grati- / tude and everlasting friendship. There are red stamps throughout. The back is white.
