One "United States Merchant Marine Certificate of Service." The certificate was printed in black text on light tan paper and was issued to "Morgan L. Howell" for his service on oceangoing ships during World War II. The certificate has a gold-colored embossed seal in the lower left corner and was signed by "Captain Warren G. Leback, Maritime Administrator," in the lower right corner.
