Union Membership Certificate. A certificate testifying that John A. Foguth was admitted as a member of the Amalgamated Association of Street, Electric Railway, and Motor Coach Employes of America by Number 26 of Detroit, on August 1, 1934 at age 50. The document includes a header depicting a train, bus, truck, streetcar, and elevated train, surrounded the Amalgamated Association of Street, Electric Railway, and Motor Coach Employes of America symbol. An embossed seal bearing the same symbol has also been imprinted at the lower left corner of the document.
