One preferred stock certificate of "Detroit Garages, Incorporated." The certificate, Number 646, is printed in black and green text on white linen paper that is watermarked "Hazel Bond." The certificate has a dark green border with a decorative engraved pattern and an embossed company seal at the lower center border. Typewritten and printed text indicates that "Alice Geneva Comer is the owner of One share of the Preferred Capital Stock (par value $100 each) of Detroit Garages, Incorporated." The certificate is dated April 16, 1931, and is signed by "N.J. Peabody, Vice-President," and "E. L. Bittles, Assistant Secretary." An authorized officer of the Detroit Trust company has also signed his name (illegible). The verso contains decorative engraved borders with orange and black printed text and blank lines that were to be filled in upon a share sale or transfer.
