Agreement Between Ashley & Dustin and Finzel's Orchestra

Contract between Finzel's Orchestra and the Ashley and Dustin Steamer Line for the services of eight musicians aboard the excursion steamer PUT-IN-BAY during the 1914 season, dated March 1st. The contract is in black printed ink on yellowed paper and has been filled in by typewriter. It stipulates a payment of $178 per week, and includes the note "Less $20.00 per week for two meals per day." The contract is signed by Edward A. Dustin. "Please sign and return this duplicate," is printed in the bottom left corner and a dotted black line at top suggests it was a piece of a larger perforated sheet of paper.
