Diploma given to Alva C. Stark by the Michigan State Automobile School on Aril 16, 1926. The diploma is stamped with the seal of the Michigan State Automobile School on the lower left. The full text of the diploma is as follows:

"Michigan State Automobile School

Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A.

This is to certify that Alva C. Start has taken a complete Course of Practical Instruction in construction, operation and maintenance of standard makes of cars. Having passed our examinations he is entitled to receive this
DIPLOMA
and is qualified for a position as Repairman, Tester, Demonstrator, Auto-Electrician or General Service Man
