One drawing entitled "Fort Wayne, Michigan, Drawing of Alterations to be Made in Floors." The drawing consists of black ink on vellum paper and shows several plan and profile views of the proposed floor construction as well as a support column in the fort barracks building. Handwritten notes beneath the title show "Drawn under direction of Gen. Totten by M. C. Meigs, Lt. of Eng., 21st March 1850" and "Eng. Department, March 25, 1850. Sent with letter of this date to Lt. Newton at Detroit. J.G.T. [Joseph G. Totten]"
