Front Elevation

One architectural drawing entitled "Taylor Avenue Elevation." The drawing (Job 197) consists of black ink on linen and shows a front elevation view and a wall cross-section detail of a proposed 2-story home for "Mrs. R. Maguire, Owner, Detroit, Michigan." The proposed house was named "Rosevilla" and was to be constructed along the shoreline of Lake Orion although no lot number or location map is shown in the plan set. This drawing, shown at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot, was part of a set of seven sheets that were prepared by "J. Lawson Miller, Architect, Successor to Falkinburg & Miller." Some blue, green, and yellow pencil shading has been added on the verso to highlight various architectural details.
