Front Elevation
One architectural drawing entitled "Front Elevation." The drawing (Job 259) consists of black ink on linen and shows a front elevation view as well as a wall cross-section detail for a proposed 2-story, 4-family apartment building. This drawing, shown at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot, was part of a set of nine sheets that were prepared by "J. Lawson Miller, Architect," for "Mr. James A. Dant, Owner, Detroit, Michigan." Some blue, green, and yellow pencil shading has been added on the verso to highlight various architectural details. A red ink stamp near the left edge shows "Plans Examined and Approved. Mar. 6, 1915. Department of Buildings, City of Detroit, By H. C. Slater." The building was located at the southwest corner of Lothrop Street and Second Avenue (where the north end of the Fisher Building is presently located).
