Remodeling Job for Mr. S. P. Lachman
One drawing entitled "Remodeling Job for Mr. S. P. Lachman." The drawing (Job 278) consists of red and black ink on linen and shows front and rear elevation views of an existing 2-story building which was to be remodeled. The building included a store on the first floor and living quarters for one family on the second floor. This drawing, shown at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot, was part of a set of nine sheets that were prepared by "J. Lawson Miller, Architect." Some blue, green, and yellow pencil shading has been added on the verso to highlight various architectural details. The building was located on the north side of Michigan Avenue between Junction Street and 35th Street.
