One drawing entitled "Sail Draft St'r. [Steamer] No. 39, Craig Ship Bldg. Co." The drawing is done in black ink on linen. It shows a port side exterior profile view of the proposed four-masted steamship, C. W. Elphicke. Gray pencil shading is shown on the hull and waves have been added to depict the vessel underway. Script text is printed on the verso in the upper left corner area and shows a shield emblem with the words, "Tracing Cloth." The drawing was prepared by the Craig Ship Building Company of Trenton, Michigan. It is shown at a scale of 1/8 inch = 1 foot and is undated. Handwritten text within a black ink stamp near the lower right corner shows "New Drawing No. Tol. 39-S9-0-2, Tube No. 1 of Str. 22."
