First Steel Hulled Bulk Carrier, Onoko

Plan sheet entitled, "First Steel Hulled Bulk Carrier, Onoko." The drawing (Sheet No. 1) consists of ink on linen and shows a port side exterior profile view of the vessel as well as a plan view of the main deck and details of the hull lines. A note in the title block indicates that the vessel dimensions were "Lgth. 302 1/2 Ft., Beam 39 Ft." The drawing was done by Capt. J. G. Johnston at a scale of 1/8 inch = 1 foot for the Museum of Great Lakes History (later the Dossin Great Lakes Museum) and is dated January 24, 1955.
