Lines for a Twenty-Two Foot Motor Launch for the U. S. Lake Survey
One drawing entitled "Lines for a Twenty-Two Foot Launch for the U. S. Lake Survey." The plan is drawn in black ink on linen at a scale of 1 inch = 1 foot and is dated December, 1912. The sheet shows profile and cross-sectional hull lines for the proposed 22 foot long, wooden-hulled motor launch. The title block in the lower right corner shows that the plan was "Prepared under the direction of Lieut. Col. J. C. Sanford, Corps of Engineers, U.S.A." An adjacent note indicates that the plan was approved and signed by "J. C. Sanford" on December 27, 1912.
