SS Detroit Edison Lengthening,
Capacity Plan
One plan sheet entitled, "SS Detroit Edison Lengthening, Capacity Plan." The drawing consists of a sepia print on vellum paper and shows a starboard side interior profile of the steamship as well as plan views of the various decks. A detail of the self-unloading boom being extended over the dock is also shown. In addition, a loading diagram is shown along with tables that list the capacities of the holds, ballast tanks, freshwater tanks, and coal bunkers. The title block in the lower right corner shows that the drawing was prepared by "M. Mack Earle, P.E., Consulting Naval Architect" at a scale of 1/16 inch = 1 foot and is dated May 23, 1966. The plan number is shown as "223-0100-3."
