The drawing consists of red and black pencil on vellum paper and shows a top and side view of a 4-cylinder engine block. A radiator fan blade can be seen on the far right side. A detail of the side-mounted spark plug assembly with cylinder, valves and exhaust manifold can be seen at the far left side of the sheet. At the center of the sheet, a note circled in red shows "Not worth while as clutch in Henderson unit is no good and impossible to redesign." The drawing is signed "JSB [James Scripps Booth], 12-28-29" near the lower right corner. A floor plan sketch for a 40' x 90' building on a 60' x 120' lot is shown at the bottom of the sheet just left of center. Adjacent handwritten text in red pencil shows "Suggested New Studio for Terminal Ave., Det. [Detroit]."
