Engraving of a landscape painting of the University of Michigan done by Jasper Francis Cropsey in 1855. The engraving depicts the grounds of the University of Michigan, including a large field with cows, sheep, and horses in the foreground, and numerous University buildings in the middle of the image. Text underneath the lower left corner of the image reads "J.F. Cropsey N.A." Text underneath the lower right corner of the image reads "Eng. by R. Leggett 4 John St. N.Y." The engraving is printed on paper which is mounted on board.
