One letter-size envelope from the "Detroit & Cleveland Navigation Co., Detroit, Michigan." The front of the envelope shows an engraved image of the passenger steamship, SS Greater Detroit, along with a frog on a lily pad. The verso has a map of the lower Great Lakes with lines that show D&C steamship routes.
