One envelope from the Richmond & Backus Company of Detroit. The letter-size envelope is made of white paper and has a gummed flap on the back. The return address, "Richmond & Backus, 183 Jefferson Avenue, Detroit," is stamped in black text along the left front side. Handwritten black ink text beneath the address reads "Settlement account of Richmond & Backus partnership which was transferred to Richmond & Backus Co."
