One sepia toned print of an etching, "Downtown Detroit," done by Frederic Valpey Shotwell in 1926. The drawing depicts downtown Detroit from a vantage point directly above old City Hall, with a view to the northwest. Streets visible in the image include Griswold Street and Michigan Avenue. The top of the City Hall building can be seen in the middle of the foreground of the image; other prominent landmarks visible include the Dime Building, to the left, the Majestic Building, to the right, and the Book Cadillac, in the background. Print is housed inside a cardboard frame.
