16mm color workprint with synchronized magnetic audio from the Sue Marx production, "This Is My Home, This Is Detroit," containing footage of activities in the Coleman A. Young Community Center as well as another complex, presumably the Joseph Walker Williams Center. The footage begins with a water aerobics class in the Coleman A. Community Center's pool before following some of the participants to the "twirl spa therapy pool." In the following segments, all identified as being at the "Walker Comm. Center," on the clapboards, an older man and a boy play pool, a group of older people play checkers, a group of children play table football while a young man keeps score, a group play Simon Says in a room with a multi-level carpeted floor, and a boy breakdances in that same room. The clapboards and the rolls are labeled November 27, 1985.
