Impact B&H- N.C.[?]

Silent color 16mm film containing several scenes relating to the Detroit Police Department--an officer on a motor scooter, an emergency dispatcher, and cadets training in a gym.

In the initial part of the reel, a uniformed Detroit Police officer rides a Fuji Rabbit motor scooter on Jefferson Avenue near Chene Street. He stops to talk to two men in suits. The office of Arthur J. Rohde and Company, and the sign for Little Harry's Restaurant are visible in the background.

The second portion of the film features a Detroit Police Department impact center operator taking notes on a Victor Electrowriter machine, and shots of a bank of reels of magnetic tape in the dispatch center's computer system. The operator has a bumper sticker beside his desk with the emergency number 224-1212.

The film ends after several shots of cadets practicing how to escape from gunpoint.
