Silent 16mm color workprint trims from the Sue Marx production, "This Is My Home, This Is Detroit," including shots from several of the production's other reels, as well as new aerial footage, and zooms and pans of historic photographs.

The silent footage begins with shots of blues musician Alford "Chicago Pete" Harrell fishing while singing beside guitarist Clarence Walton on the shore of Chene Park, as Anna and John McDonald walk through the park and past Franklin Wright Village as seen in the video 2015.007.005. The footage also contains excerpts from the interview with Coleman Young in the Manoogian Mansion from 2015.007.012. Shots of the exterior of the Coleman A. Young Community Center are coupled with the scenes of its interior from 2015.007.011. The McDonalds are interviewed on the lawn of Cityside Townhomes Apartments from 2015.007.007. Finally, Gertrude Powe, her neighbors, and the Virginia Park Town Homes exterior shots from 2015.007.001 are also included.

The reels also contain several unique aerial shots. There is a fly-by of the Ambassador Bridge. Another aerial shot begins over East Grand Boulevard near Jefferson Avenue facing west toward the partially demolished Uniroyal Tire Plant, and continues along the MacArthur Bridge, which is undergoing repairs. There are also fly-overs of the Renaissance Center and of Lafayette Park.

The historic photos featured included scenes of Detroit streets, factories, a boat, Eastern Market, and a jazz orchestra.
