16mm color workprint with synchronized magnetic audio from the Sue Marx production, "This is My Home, This is Detroit," shot at a free concert at Michigan Avenue and Larkins Street, and on an unidentified residential street. The clapboards list the scene as "MACO," presumably referring to the Michigan Avenue Community Organization, and are dated September 14, 1985, however the rolls are labeled September 16, 1985.

The footage of the event at Michigan and Larkins includes a ribbon cutting ceremony that includes Ronald McDonald as a participant (likely for the opening of the McDonald's at 6876 Michigan Avenue), the Salvation Army brass band playing in the street, the Michigan and Larkins street signs, children with balloons, children getting their faces painted, bands performing on a stage, people dancing, and a series of brief interviews with residents in attendance focusing on what they like about their neighborhood and Detroit. The audio track from this portion includes the bands preforming "Hello Dolly," "'Deed I Do," and the documentary's theme song "Detroit, My Home." The singer of the band performing the latter makes reference to running through the song again for the benefit of the film crew. The video also contains several instances of just audio, including music from the event's performers, and someone announcing the sound of Ronald McDonald blowing up a balloon.

The final portion of the video was shot on a residential street. An older man with a Slavic accent sweeps his porch and answers several brief questions about the neighborhood, as a construction crew works on a porch. The house number 7027 is visible on a neighboring house.
