Silent color 16mm film containing footage shot for "Detroit Means Business," of workers and machines assembling electronics, followed by aerial footage of Detroit Wayne County Metropolitan Airport, the interchange between I-96 and the Southfield Freeway, the Ambassador Bridge, and the Renaissance Center.

The spool begins with close-up footage of two different electronics workers, possibly both connected to the Burroughs Corporation. In the first, a man attaches jumpers to pins on a board. In the second a woman operates a machine that inserts integrated circuits into a computer board.

Brief shots of a trailer and the Zantop Airways building at Detroit Metro Airport follow a brief gap in the film. Next, several lengthy aerial shots taken from a helicopter show the airport including the L.C. Smith Terminal, the Michael Berry Terminal, planes in boarding areas, and the parking structure.

After a brief shot aerial shot of a neighborhood, the camera hovers over the western end of the interchange between I-96 and the Southfield Freeway for an extended shot. Another very brief aerial shot of a neighborhood follows.

The camera, still in the helicopter, then circles around the Ambassador Bridge for several shots. These takes include a pan across the bridge from the Canadian side, the signs atop the bridge's towers, and a perspective with Detroit's skyline in the background.

The remainder of the film contains several aerial shots of the Renaissance Center, with Towers 500 and 600 in the focal points of both shots. While most shots focus on the east side of the building, the camera also gets a wide sweep over downtown from west of the Renaissance Center, with major downtown buildings in the foreground including the Penobscot Building, the Guardian Building.

The film is wrapped on a plastic core and housed within a 35mm tin along with 2015.007.079. The tin is marked "10/21/81 Urban Comm. Group City rolls 34-37."
