Silent color 16mm film containing footage shot for "Detroit Means Business," of laboratory workers, The Market Place section in Hudson's Northland, diners at a high-end downtown restaurant, and views from the top of the Renaissance Center.

The spool begins with footage of laboratory workers, amid microscopes, and other devices. A close-up of a monitor shows an animated color graph titled "Energy Conv. Devices."

Next are several takes of two sections of The Market Place housewares area at a Hudson's Northland.

The camera then moves to a restaurant for several takes of a server cooking a steak table-side for a group of diners, followed by close-ups of two of the women at the table.

Finally, the camera is positioned atop the Renaissance Center's Tower 100 for several pans from Towers 600 and 700 below, northeast to the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Building and Lafayette Park, and then southeast toward the riverfront and Belle Isle. From the same vantage point, the camera also gets a long shot of the Detroit Edison Conners Creek electric power plant and of Lafayette Towers Apartments East, Lafayette Towers Apartments West, and the 1300 Lafayette East Cooperative.

The film is wrapped on a plastic core and housed within a 35mm tin along with 2015.007.082. The tin is marked "CT 338 7416 - 338 8212, D 023 7284 - 023 8072, D 023 8895 - 023 9644, CT 338 9038 - 338 9804."
