Flyer
Flyer. A single-sided flyer advertising a May Day demonstration held in 1933 by the United Front May Day Conference. A series of marches beginning at Ferry Hall, Grandy Hall, Alger Hall, Brady and Livingstone, and Lodge Park and all convening at Grand Circus Park are proposed. A passage at the bottom of the bill lists grievances the marches will address including the lack of unemployment insurance, the imprisonment of Tom Mooney, the trials against the Scottsboro Boys, unemployment, starvation, utility shut-offs, and "the increase of deportation of the Foreign Born and legal lynching of the Negro workers."
