One guidebook entitled "Sauer's Official Street Guide and Pocket Directory of Detroit," The pocket-size book has a green softcover with blue and white text. The 336 interior pages are printed in black text on white paper and show alphabetical listings of street names along with address numbers at cross streets. A foldout map in the back shows the city street layout as well as a larger map of downtown with business names. The guidebook also includes streets in the adjoining cities of Dearborn, Highland Park, Hamtramck, River Rouge, and Grosse Pointe. The guidebook was printed by The Keystone Press, Inc., 258 East Vernor Highway, Detroit 1, Michigan, and is dated 1945.
