Indenture

One indenture between the Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Company and Elbridge G. Newhall, Jr., and Edward L. Newhall. The document consists of two typewritten pages which describe the sale of a parcel of land on Grosse Ile by the Dunbar & Sullivan to the Newhalls for one dollar. The indenture included a legal description of the land along with signatures of officers of Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Company, witnesses, and a notary public. The two pages were bound together in a legal-style, gray/tan paper binder which has two brass grommets at the top edge. Typewritten text on the outside of the binder reads "Dunbar and Sullivan Dredging Co. to Elbridge G. Newhall, Jr., et al." A handwritten note in blue ink reads "Original instrument recorded Apr. 29, 1932, Liber 3748 Deeds, Page 561."
