Indenture
One indenture between various members of the Newhall family of Detroit and the Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Company. The document consists of four typewritten pages which describe the sale of portions of three parcels of land in Grosse Ile Township by the Newhalls to Dunbar & Sullivan for one dollar. The indenture included a legal description of the three land parcels and was unsigned by the various parties. The four pages were bound together in a legal-style, gray/tan paper binder which has two brass grommets at the top edge. Typewritten text on the outside of the binder reads "Elbridge G. Newhall, Jr., et al. to Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Company." An adjacent handwritten note reads "Copy of Warranty Deed from A. Goetz. Can't find original, 3-11-36."
