Indenture

One indenture (warranty deed), dated January 14, 1902, between Ernestine Van der Heide, party of the first part, and Frederick Rolmert and Louise E. Rolmert, parties of the second part. The single page document is a pre-printed form on white paper that is watermarked "Richmond & Backus, Detroit, Mich." It has black printed text and handwritten text on both sides. The handwritten text gives a legal description of various lots in the Crane & Wesson Section of the Beaubien Farm, and indicated that the land was being sold to the Rolmerts for $8000.00. The document was signed on the verso by both parties, two witnesses, and a Notary Public. It was recorded at the Register's Office, Wayne County, in Liber 573, Page 202 on March 1, 1902. The document was also stamped with the embossed seal of the Wayne County Register of Deeds.
